Living Agreement

Phase One: New Resident

-No phone or vehicle allowed while in phase one. You may have access to house phone and computer. The bus stop is right across the street for transportation.

-There will be absolutely no dating or being in contact with men and people of interest while in phase one or two. Allow yourself the opportunity to work on yourself.

-There will be no use of social media in this phase and is not allowed to be accessed through the house computer

-Curfew will be 9:00 pm, no exceptions

-No over nights allowed, no exceptions

-Must obtain a sponsor, a home group and a job in the home group in the first 30 days

-Meet with your sponsor at least once a week

-Must attend 6 meetings a week until you have obtained a job

-Must volunteer at least 20 hours a week while looking for a job. Up to 5 hours a week count for job searching and interviews. Up to 10 hours a week count for writing your 4th step only and must be logged. Management can assign chores around the house such as yard work, cleaning etc. If you volunteer at an institution, your hours must be logged on their letterhead.

-In order to move to phase two, you must consistently meet all house requirements and finished steps 1-3. Moving you to the next phase will be granted by management.

-If you are moving in with an already completed fourth step, you will be on phase one for a mandatory 2 weeks.

Phase Two: Fourth Step

-Must attend 4 meetings per week

- Meet with your sponsor at least once a week and attend your home group

-You will be allowed a phone and vehicle to help support you when obtaining a job. This privilege can and will be revoked if house rules are not followed

-There will be absolutely no dating or being in contact with men and people of interest while in phase one or two. Allow yourself the opportunity to work on yourself

-Curfew will be 10:00 pm, no exceptions

-No over nights allowed, unless discussed with management for things such as court, family emergencies etc.

-Must work or volunteer at least 20 hours a week, 10 hours can be logged for writing your 4th step

-Must consistently meet all house requirements or you are in danger of being sent back to phase one

 -In order to move to phase three, you must consistently meet all house requirements and finish steps 4-8. Moving you to the next phase will be granted by management after the house has voted you into the next phase at the Sunday night house meeting. Please refer to the senior resident document in the office

Phase Three: Senior Resident

- Must attend 4 meetings a week

- Meet with your sponsor at least once a week and attend your home group

- You must be actively working steps 9-12 with intention on sponsoring

- Curfew will be 12:00 am, no exceptions

- Two over nights allowed per week, approved by management 24 hours in advance, no exceptions.

- You must work or volunteer at least 20 hours a week. Writing hours no longer count towards volunteer hours

- Must consistently meet all house requirements or you are in danger of being sent back to phase one or two

-Senior residency is a major responsibility. You are representing what recovery looks like and will be helping new women coming into the house.

House Requirements

-The current phases and program we offer are best supported by the 12 steps of Alcoholics Annonymous as an inital recovery program. Narcotics Annonymous, conduct, codependecy, and trauma work are encouraged as recovery add-ons.

- Attend your phase requirement meetings every week (one church attendance, SMART recovery, yoga, IOP etc.)

- Meet with your sponsor once a week. Provide phone number of your sponsor so that management may contact in the event it appears you are not working a recovery program.

- Be awake and bed made by 9:00 am

-Attend meditation group every Monday-Friday morning at 9:15 am lead by your peer who is required to let management know if you are late or do not attend.

-We offer a mother's in recovery support group Wednesday's at 6:30 pm and a recovery bible study Sunday's at 5:30 pm

- House meetings are Mandatory! and occur EVERY Wednesday at 7:30 pm for writing group, followed immediately by the 8:30 pm senior resident activity and Sunday at 8:30 pm for the requirement check in meeting.

-You are to meet with the Spiritual Advisor bi-weekly, 10 or more minutes late to this meeting is a missed requirement and will not be rescheduled.

-We encourage finding a therapist- options will be provided

- We work on a Strike 1, 2 and 3 basis

  1. Warning- 1 hour earlier curfew/no overnights

  2. 1 hour earlier curfew/no overnights, we take your phone

  3. Phase down- 2 hour earlier curfew/ no overnights, we take your phone, you cannot leave the house without a buddy

-Behavior contracts will be issued at management’s discretion.

-Cliques, exclusion, isolation, bullying and otherwise distruptive behavior WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

- Chores will be assigned once a week at house meetings. You must do your chore daily and check it off by 10:00 am.  Your area must be kept clean during that entire week, this includes your BEDROOM.

-Our Accountability House Manager will follow up to make sure you are awake, your bed is made, you are attending meditation, and your chore is completed and signed off on.

- No drugs or alcohol allowed in the house at ANY time! No selling or misusing prescriptions, this includes taking all medications as prescribed.

- No male guests or partners allowed in the house AT ALL unless it is family or for legal purposes. Any visitors should be announced to house members upon arrival and you are responsible for being with your guest. If you are a senior resident and you are being picked up by someone who is not approved to be in the house, they must pick you up on the street.

- Everyone in the house is expected to work, if you cannot work or choose not to, and your rent is paid, then you are required to do at least 20 hours of community service or recovery related activities. 

-Stay out of other people’s personal space. Do not enter a bedroom you do not occupy.

-We conduct drug and alcohol testing at any time; you are expected to comply. Refusing a test will be considered a failed test. You have 2 hours to complete your test or it will be considered a failed test. In order to maintain sobriety and safety through out the house, a failed test is termination from the house.

-Choosing not to comply with these requirements will subject you to termination from the house. There are NO refunds on rent paid. If you are choosing to leave the house, there will need to be a 30 day heads up so that the bed can be filled for the next woman. These rules are set in place to protect you and everyone else, providing an environment where woman can recover and thrive.

Rent- Rent is $800 per month due on the first of every month.
